Default Do you listen to music and does it help?

Hi,

I can't listen to music because it reminds me of something. Even instrumental music does this. I don't keep up with new groups, because even new stuff can make me depressed.

I do remember listening to Melissa Etheridge when she was doing her loud angry albums. I used to listen to her when I was anxious and upset after work. Eventually I would relax and fall asleep on the couch before she was even finished with her first song.

In the car, to help me focus on driving, I listen to oldies -- stuff from the 70s.
