Bobby

bizi 07-03-2008 09:46 AM

thanks bobby, I have never tried the cogentin...am trying to stick to more natural supplements if possible,,,tryying to stay away from putting more "chemicals", in my body....rethinking that ...I have taken cogentin before...when I was on haldol to counteract the side effects from that med. Haated that!

I have a very good thing <wink>

for your insomnia, Bizi....

It is the rock book I bought to take on vacation.

It is a lovely thing...with pictures etc.

BUT I can't do more than 10 pgs at a time...it totally
knocks me out...snore snore.
Any geology book will do... all those names...
which are meaningless!

And the next day I cannot remember what they were even! duh?
This is it:

I actually have a book that does the same thing although I should not admit to it:

The Intellectual Devotional....american history.

hubby reads every night.
I have been reading a book by Sark.see if I can find a link for her work.
She is a wonderful writer and very playful.

Bizi,
Have you thought of hypnotherapy? I ahd a firend that did this and the doc recorded the session so she could play it back for boosters.

I have SAD, also irregular sleep patterns. Some time I am up until 5:00 Am and lately getting awake at 5:00am.

I have been sleeping in the recliner. I cannot fall asleep on a flat bed.
hope that your sleep improves.

HI Di,:)
Have been missing you.
HOw are you doing?
What has kept you up until 5am?
are you sleeping in the recliner due to pain issues?
I slept well the last 2 nights...kept socks on used to not wear them because I would get so hot, coming into hormonal changes perimenopausal issues at night....but will try to sleep with socks on from now on.
I think the increase dose of magnesium has helped too.

Hi bizi
I sleep in the recliner because it is better then laying flat. ON the bed I want to be a tummy sleeper. I have had degenerative disc problems, and the right hip has arthritic changes, in a bed that hurts.I miss cuddling with hubby, but not the snoring (both of us) and the restless whole bed hog he is.

I climb in bed try to sleep and end up on the recliner. It is arched and I sleep fetal on it....pillow under my legs.

I have a long post on the weekend thread today about my hiding due to stress of job. My dream job has been he!! since Human resourses confronted me about being on SSDI. She works in our program pt time and is trying to find petty things and not telling me about trainings to make me look inept.

I told them in a meeting yesterday I pat myself on the back for what a wonderful job I perform for the families and clients I have. The ignoring me, shutting the door and failing to respond when I need an escort for a child is difficult. I am aggressivly being undermind.

I am looking for another job, my hours have been cut to about 6 a week.
SUCKS how people can be so petty, life is too short and I just want to care for my family and help others.
Whole other thread,
but I will survive, I am back to see psych doc and she is wonderful.

I am glad that you slept the few nights. Soc's, hey maybe you can cut out the toes?

hope that you have a good week.
am sorry about your back issues....
glad the recliner lets you rest though.

well I htink the insomnia has returned.
but this time I am having perimenopausal symptoms too.
for the past 2 nights, I have been getting so hot...not like sweating hot like before when I had night sweats.
It is affecting my work, have been sleeping in until noon today, missed my morning appointments, am behind from the hurricane.
I am hardly able to write this....:
I wonder if I should restart the ambien????
NO NO NO NO NO NO:hissyfit:

I sort of feel bad complaining about my sleep issues when so many of us here have them...
will see over the weekend how it goes.
I don't think that I could take hormone medication...I don't even want to mess around with that...but there are some over the counter meds...
anybody take estrovent?
