Default Abilify

I was put on Ablify once upon a time, and used it like 5 days and said this makes me too hyper.

But now, my doc made me promise to take an antipsychotic and this one does not make you sleep all day and gain weight.

Its activating more than sedating. I take it 7am and 12pm 20mg total, and then I sleep at 9pm till about 4am, its solid sleep, but what the ?? I am wired till 2pm

I have been on it for over 7 days. Anyone take it? Anyone have insight?

nutter,
do you take the abilify at night? or is that 12 noon?
just curious if that could be keeping you up?
are you eating something or caffeine that could be keeping wired?
Are you still exercising? this was really important for youa nd perhaps that is what you could do with your wiredness?
no I have never taken this before...I like geodon when I need one.

I have only seen the add for it in a magazine, so it must be new, huh?

It does sound like something that has something in it to keep you wired up.

Unless, it is just a side effect, until your body gets used to it.

Call your p-doc and tell him/her, or ask the pharmacist about it.

I hate that wired feeling, makes me edgy. Although I could use a boost.

Hugs, Nikko

Hi,

I took Abilify for awhile, and I found it to be slightly activating, but other than that, it didn't do anything for me. I didn't have any side effects, just felt a bit energized (or maybe just not sedating.) I hope you have better luck than I did. It does help some people. Good luck.

Our adopted dau took Geodon once and it seem to make her depressed or mixed state. Abilify has been a really good med for her. It is very mildly sedating and it seems to help her think a little more clearly.
