How is everyone?

I hope that you are well or at least mostly well and headed for doing fine.


I am still cleaning out my office from ex-colleague. On Thursday I had a student take off the old double sided tape from old depressing posters all over the walls and the door. All but one of the posters are in the trash.
Then I threw out a mirror and a lamp of his -- they were ugly and we have ceiling lights).

I took down a box of personal stuff of his and a painting that was important to him to put in my car trunk. I can drop them off at a mail boxes R US type place on Friday and have them wrap up the junk and mail to him -- I don't really want to see him and I certainly don't want to see his crap anymore.

Then I will request that maintenance paint the walls. I need a fresh start in there. Next we will wax the floor.
I can start clearing my own clutter in my filing cabinet too.

Anyway, I feel good about getting more stuff out of the office.
I need that place cleared out so good energy can roam freely and I have room for my own good thoughts.

It sounds kind of like starting fresh at work for you. I am glad for you. I broke things off with the guy I had been dating. He just wasn't for me.

Thank you Mari. I started to pick up all kinds of signs of the guy being controlling and abusive if I had went on with him. I fought hard to get away from that and I sure don't want to get back into it.

I wish I would not be attracted to that kind of man.

That sounds like lots of good time spent. I have been doing some cleaning
too. And I'm wanting to do more. But its so hard with the neck and other
problems. So I just do what I can.

I am doing well, just taking days one at a time. And working on enjoying
my work. And my family.

I've also been working on things with my husband and its been going pretty
good.

Sitting here at the computer...need to get to bed, was waiting for my tooth whitener strips to melt, they bubble and tingle....
saw a couple of one act plays tonight...they were great.
Dinner at a greek food place zeus...drinks at a bar 2 blocks from our house, called brewskies...a sports bar, jsut opened half priced drinks all night...so had a couple of guiness and headed home.
WE finished watching all of season 2 lost this week and will start season 3 soon.
I have a golf lesson on Monday!!!! yippie!
We head to indy for our family vacation...we will be driving...$gas$
2 days there, will spend the night in memphis.
get to see all of our family, a baby shower for a cousin, a 90th birthday party/reunion too. So this will be a busy trip!
we leave on thursday.
need to catch up on loose ends before we leave.

HI all, feeling a bit energetic today so am trying to decide if I should chance it and try doing some cleaning or finally get my stuff out and work on my quilt. Hands and ankles hurt so whichever one I decide lol..............

HOt and muggy here so am still trying to decide whether or not to turn on the air. Still tolerable at this moment thanks to the many fans.

Finally got my first pain med yesterday from my new PM so hopefully my days of depression will be fewer and farther between. NO more crying into a towel in the bathroom. Well.....okay.....not as often lol. My pdoc should be a bit happier now. She has been saying for a year that they needed to get on the ball lol.

Me, I am doing maximum cleaning with minimum effort.
Sounds like a productive moving forward weekend for many from housecleaning men, walls and teeth to doing things for us.

enjoy the rest of the weekend. On monday the family is taking an overnight trip to Philadelphia. My youngest was far to young when we were there last to remember much.
I just hope the hotel was a good pick. Free parking and pool ;-)

*Sigh*

Not doing so well. Bought five lotto tickets and the cashier didn';t give me the second ticket with two 'quick picks' on it and it was a horrible explosive load of crap when I got home and couldn't find them. I just want to give up and stop trying to make this man happy, nothing will ever make him glad to be with me.

I had to listen to over an hour of his ranting about it, and I just can't take anymore. It's really awful, he went from calling me incompetant to saying he can't trust me with Jackie now. I just want to go to sleep and not wake up. Sitting here crying because we argued so much and he said now he feels he can't get a job and said I couldn't cope with one if I was lucky enough to even get in the door at some place. It's just awful today. *Sigh*
