Oh pammy I am so sorry that you are having to go thru all of this.
I wish I could help you....:(

Pam you are far from pathetic and inadequate. You are in a tough situation. It is very hard when a child you love is involved and the man you love and have been with for so long is not who you want him to be. You carry a lot of unnecessary guilt. You are the only one who can deal with that. We all know nothing we can say can change that. We are here for you for whatever and whenever you need us.

Don't beat yourself up over this. You will get there in your own time. It took a long time to get where you are, it will take a while to get to where you need to be.

Thanks everyone, I hope that things go well today, I am decided on what to do, but I don't like it. I doubt they will offer what I need to take this job, but the interview will be good experience so I am definitely going. I feel a lot better after a good night's sleep. I don't feel nearly as badly as I did before bed last night, but I am sick of cycling like I feel I have been from way up there to down low. It's really maddening. :(

I think they will keep my resume ad application active for six months so if by then Jackie is in a group home, then I can go and hopefully get this job. Or else go back to school. One or the other. I really appreciate you all being so supportive, it's really helped me through this. :)

once my cousin's son was sent to a boarding school for kids with special needs he was finally able to make some friends...and progress-good luck with the interview
I also did my internship as a psychologist in a children's psychiatric hospital and the kids' made friends.
