Thumbs up So glad this election stress is over, now what?

Just wondreing if you all feel as relieved as I do that we're through the election and have our new president elect pinned down, so there's no more worrying. About the election anymore....

I am relieved.
IMHO, there was too much negatively and I don't care for the way the press reports stuff these days,
I think it was easier to get unbiased information years ago, but I suppose it doesn't make sense to worry much about what once was in the past.
It is all behind us now and a decision was made.
For me personally, I think indecision is troubling and certainly a lot of bickering gets me down.
Last night's speeches were positive and that is a good thing.
We can move forward now and I think it would be wise to keep a good thought.

It's kinda like "Now what?" LOL, what is the next big thing to worry and think about? I guess it'll be Thanksgiving. Looking forward to that.

New dilemma...
To pig out on Thanksgiving or to eat sensibly?
Hmmm
Tough choice...but not a crisis.
If you chose to over eat...just eat sensibly for a few days afterward and get in some exercise.
That problem solved.
Of course, there are always the family issues...fingers crossed that they wont be too bad for folks this year.

Glad the elections are over too.

Oh...................the holiday's, going to be sad this year, since my mom passed away in August.

I guess on Turkey day, I will watch the parade and then football.

Christmas - can't even think about it. I get a lump in my throat, the tears well up. Especially Christmas Eve, that was always special.

Went into Walgreens yesterday to get a script filled, and I was in awe with all the Xmas decorations and gift things already up, at least they aren't playing Xmas music yet, that will really get to me.

Sorry, don't mean to be a downer.

Hugs, Nikko

Cool

My girlfriend and I took a walk around the complex today, took one of the dogs, it was good, my back hurts now, but any exercise is good, I figure, since the damage is already done. I took my pain meds before we went for the walk, so that helped.

She wants to get back in her routine of taking a mid morning walk. We just took it slow. It's in the 70's here now, except at night it drops to the 50's.

Dr. will be calling tomorrow, hopefully..............

Hugs, Nikko
