Something that was said here is a huge, huge trigger for me. I can't deal with people saying they're possessed. I watched the Exorcist with my mom before she passed away. I thought I could handle it but I couldn't. I even had to see a therapist for 6 months over it. When it's advertised I have to turn my head and hold my ears because I can't stand the voice even. I'm teetering on the edge of mania and my pdoc increased my Lithium. I can't stop thinking about it. I've tried to sleep but keep thinking that I'm being raised up out of my bed. I woke this morning and my palms were bleeding from clenching my fists so hard trying to hold myself down.

I'm going to see my priest today after church. I told him I really really need to talk to him. I just feel so dirty right now for even thinking of this. I feel like a prune because I'm taking 3 showers a day trying to wash it all away. But I can't stop thinking of that movie and all the things that happened in it and that terrible voice is ringing in my head. I'm learning the hard way what my triggers are.

read tjat you were triggered you could post it.
