Glad to hear you're somewhat better Bizi. Bet you're drained though.

I'm so glad that you are able to go to the concert. Have a safe trip.

Dear Bizi,
BTW, Wittesea explained to me one time that some meds can be absorbed under the tongue. I was throwing up due to pain meds after a wisdom tooth was pulled. I was worried about taking the Klonopin on time.

She suggested putting the Klonopin under my tongue.
I didn't have to do that. I waited a few extra hours and took a sip of lemon juice to settle my stomach and then after I saw that that stayed down I took a sip of water with the Klonopin.

Not all meds would be as crucial as klonopin for missing a dose of course.

My husband likes cola syrup (Emetrol in the pharmacies here) for settling his stomach when he gets the flu. (But that stuff is yucko for me. I guess it depends on the type of stomach problem.)

Anyway, check with Witt for info like this to have in the future (I hope you won't need it) . She, like you, is an expert on many things.

Dear bizi,

Hope you enjoy your husband's performance. There is some kind of stomach virus going around here in SF as well. I have been ill for the last week, but not incapacitatingly.

For future reference, if you ever are affected by vomiting that goes on for days, so that your electrolyte balance may be in danger, there is a staggeringly expensive med named, "Zofran", that is the soverign anodyne for nausea.

Have fun!
