Well that is good

Dear Steve,
I hope that the car manages on the roads.
I'm glad that you are comfortable about the weather. :grouphug:

The weather has been keeping me inside a lot and bored. Of course there's not too many places to really go even if the weather was okay. I kind of miss my old neighbors.

Barb

You will get to know your new neighborhood, and then have places to go also.

Sending good thoughts, and hoping the weather is better soon.

Its been snowing here too.

Donna

Thank you Donna. Today we are getting rain instead of snow. How much snow are you getting?

barbara

Dmom3005 02-16-2010 04:36 PM

Just a couple of inches right now. But hopefully we wont get what
is coming into the area on Friday or Saturday.

So far we are having the coldest winter in 10 years. It seems colder.
Inside he house I am cold. Then I am hot.
I turned on the heat for a few minutes earlier during the night. And then turned it off.

The weather is disorienting somehow. I'm confused.

odd for me to say this

preface... sometimes going in to spring i get a wave of depression - not always, but it is a significant calendar risk period and the time when i have had some of my worst....

SO it is odd for me to say this... but I AM SOOOO READY FOR SPRING. i am tired of cold grey mucky weather! winter can be beautiful but this one hasn't been.

i hope your weather improves soon too, Mari, and of course, everyone that is knee deep in snow - ice - slush.

I have to admit I will be so happy when spring gets here. But I know that
doesn't mean snow will definately be gone here. We get snow sometimes
into May. Sending all in the storms hugs.

seems we may be in for another soon.

Oh Donna,
I am hoping that spring comes soon for you and that it stays spring for a long time(no more snow)....
I was shocked to hear a story from onw of my clients....she said that the weather man said that it snowed here in the south in a little town 30 miles from here called Rayne....24 inches! maybe we are in for a cooling cycle with weather change....I jsut can't imagine that much snow here in the south.
I was shocked to hear of this.

Mari That happens to me. I'd become cold, then suddenly I'm warm. I'd turn on the air conditioner when it's 20 degrees outside, and turn down the heat.

This has been happening for years. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Waves Me too. I become depressed some years during the very beginning of Spring. I remember my dad saying some people get depressed during the fall. Then he said you get depressed during the Spring sometimes. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Yes, depression can come in the fall or spring.

I think for some people its the change in things. Just like we
have anxiety with change.

fall and spring, huh? weird!

me, in fall, i am more at risk for mania! it's like, some years when the leaves "turn bright colors" ... so do i... LOL.

i don't ever remember being depressed in fall, other than once when i was depressed for a whole year... ugh.

spring i've had some real doozy downers though.

that said, i don't follow a stable, predictable seasonal pattern like SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) or anything.

i think there's some merit in the "change" theory... spring and fall are seasons of change... makes sense somehow.

In the Spring,is when my allergies get worse. I think allergies bring about some depression with some people. BF:hug::hug::hug:

I become more active and happy in the Spring and depressed in the fall.
