Default Pain medication and loopy loop

What a day...........MY new pain med knocked me for a loopy loop.

So, I didn't feel as though I could drive, so had to put some things off until tomorrow.

I won't take it in the AM until I get home. I really needed to just rest today anyway, cause pain woke me up around 2am so I read a magazine for awhile, then fell back to sleep.

Tomorrow I will go to the grocery store and a few errands. Maybe my mom and I will go and get our hair trimmed, we had wanted to do it today, but I just couldn't. woohoooooooooooooo They are long lasting, so I only have to take one every 12 hrs.

If it isn't C-spine problems, it's my damn Lumbar spine. I think I wrote that all in my appt. post.

Anyway, not hungry at all, just thirsty having a coke on the rocks. Dogs are fed, birds will start chirping when it gets dark, thats my clue they want to be covered for the night. Cockateils need 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of nighttime.

Have to feed Caysea my bunny some more hay she is funny how she moves it into her little igloo in the cage, she loves the brand I bought, plus her regular food.

Going to watch that show Numbers tonight, it's a pretty good show.

So all in all I got nothing done today.....that's life...........

Happy Weekend!!!! Nikko

Nikko,

You really have the pets. I did not get much done today myself other than do some reading. I have had a relaxing day too. I plan to go to bed early tonight and turn the ringer off on the phone. The phone has been waking me up every day this week.

Red face

Happy weekend to you too nikko!
I am hoping that you have better pain control with your new med.
Am glad that it lasts 12 hours that is great!
Is this a temporary increase in pain or will this be long term pain that you are dealing with?
either way I am sorry that you are hurting....

Nikko, what is the new med you are on? Is it making you feel any better eventhough you are all loopy? Or is it still too early yet?
Boy you have a ton of pets. I wish I could have all different kinds like you do, but hubby is allergic to feathers and fur bearing animals. So that leaves out most pets. We do however have 7 tortoises that we love. Here is a picture of some of them.
They aren't as fun as a cat or dog...but boy-howdy do they have personality!

Hi,
I guess I will be on the pain med until and /if Physical Therapy works. I don't know how my L-4 is going to get better because it has nothing to fuse to, yet it is trying to. My lower back problem started after the trauma, although it has been happening over time, it aggravated it. Because that surgery was in 1989. My c-spine same thing with pain, got aggravated from the trauma. At least the fusion is in tact. Oh, boy does he belong in jail, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I woke up to my mom calling me around midnight, she was on the floor again, she had got up to go to the bathroom and ended up by her bedside on the way back from the bathroom. She is so hard to lift and I have to try and help her, even though it kills my back.
The pain med works. Bizi - I have been on one or another pain med since my c-spine surgery, my lower back was fine, until well ya know. Good thing I found out about my lumbar lower spine, if the PT doesn't work - God knows what the Orthopedic Spine Surgeon will want or think will be best. NO MORE SURGERY, I pray.
I'm glad you like all my pets, I love them.
Tortises, wow they sound like fun to have and they are cute. It's true they all have their own personality's it's really something.
I am hurting today, but need to get things done. Also woke up with a headache, I think it is from grinding my teeth, or else having the heat on, which I am not used to. It is dropping down at night, yet the days are sunny and in the 60's.
I think I will just do the grocery shopping, put gas in the car, and 2 other quick errands.
I think we will end up waiting to get our hair trimmed, unless my mom is up to it today, but after last night she may be hurting.

Hugs, Nikko

Yes, I have one that is a commode or can be used as a seat in the shower.

I am going to have to put in by her bed.
