Heart I feel lots better being away from home

That sounds bad but this time its totally because I think I'm finally getting better. I"m not sure what my problem was still but think it just had to do with me and how I've been this last year. I decided to wait and see what happens.

I also feel there maybe something in my house making me sick. I've wondered about this for a while. So I plan to have my husband do some major work on cleaning. If I can get him to do that while I'm gone this weekend to Kokomo.

I also have been dealing with a majorly depressed Husband he finally has turned the corner the last day or two. Its good though he is finally admitting the depression. But he wants to blame it on the uncertainity of the world.
He needs to realize in his life it could easily be part of the way he is. It runs in his family just like mine. And its very important that he admits this.

I really have been reading and listening to things everyone says lately. Hoping I could pull something to help him. So I want to say thank you,
Because of some of the things you say can be helpful for your times.

I've been able to leave him completely alone, let him try and pull through
this on his own. I know that sometimes he needs to have that. But before I would have thought it wasn't the right approach. It was probably the
hardest thing I've done.

Wow, Donna,
This sounds like a big change and something difficult for you.

Depression can run in families. Does he have close relatives with it?
It sounds like he might be working it out in his own way. I hope he makes it out the other side.

Regarding the house making you sick:
Do you have a newish house? One that is sealed up tight against the weather? That can be bad.

In my area of the country we worry about mold.

How about something in the house that is new like new carpeting or glue?

Here is a government web site listing common problems with buildings:
http://www.epa.gov/iaq/pubs/sbs.html

--Inadequate ventilation
--Chemical contaminants from indoor sources
--Chemical contaminants from outdoor sources
--Biological contaminants

Basically, going a way from a home for a while like you did -- is a good test that something inside the house is bothering you.
Maybe try opening windows and doors for some ventilation.

If you have central air/heat, spending $100 for an allergy filter that lasts a couple of years can be a big benefit. I'm sure you know what the major symptoms of depression are. The most diagnostic are the vegetative symptoms, i.e. sleep and appetite disturbance, either too little or too much. Then there's excessive worry, lack of interest in former activities, lack of motivation, lack of energy, anxiety, negative thinking - I could go on for awhile, but I'm sure you are aware. Do try to get some ventilation in the house if you can. I actually can't. Windows are double paned and sealed. Maybe something in your house is effecting husband, too. Or maybe if you do know the cause of his low mood, it's situational, rather than clinical, depression and can be somewhat more easily delt with most times, by working through the cause. maybe Radon gasses? they have testers/ alarms you can get. like smoke alarms.

also the heating ducts can get full of gunk and maybe need cleaned out.

Is the home near large power lines? Or cell phone towers?
read about EMF fields.
Electromagnetic Fields -
http://people.uwec.edu/piercech/EMF/

there's much more info on it this is just one of the first sites I came across.

Hubby probably wont see a professional, but I'll work on that.

The house is over 100 years old. But has central air, that we put in when we moved in. And some other updates.

I am going to look into some of these things you have posted.

I really think some of the other problems we have had could all be connected.

Hi, okay along with being pretty much fine while in Kokomo over the
weekend. I came back, to dogs having been doctored with a powder
smelling stuff for fleas, its something that my asthma and breathing
always react to. So I didn't worry about this, other than they aren't
allowed to sit with me or on my blanket. But this morning I'm really
off again. Not well in the stomach, and have the signs of the headache,
stomach problems, have already thrown up, and have more coming.

I know that I need to see the nurse, so I called and made a appt. Because
this has been going on, and its not a emergency visit. I made the appt for when she has time for me. So I go on Friday at 2pm.

Man I hate to be throwing up again. But if it is making my head better good.

Awww Donna I am so sorry you're so sick, I am glad you made the appt at least though. Hopefully you can get the ducts tested and see if they might be the culprit of what is making you so sick, I hope you're able to find a cure for what ails you soon.

I have kind of a odd phone and catch up week. So its going to be good.

I was kind of upset I wasn't with places to go. But now I'm not so upset.

I just don't know where or what is up with this. Just glad Derrick seems
fine.

On the front of my husband, he is doing so much better. Not sure how he
turned himself around so fast. But I think he ran out of his amtrypilline to
long. Its not even depression he takes it for. But migraines and sleeping at night. But he had chosen to stop for a while. Because on this dosage he
has trouble getting up in the mornings. But he figured out the hard way that he needs it. So he is taking it earlier because it doesn't seem to matter with the sleep.

I'm just glad he is doing this on his own.
