In seeing the previews of Non-Stop with Liem Neeson I spotted a gal who I was sure I recognized. In checking it out it turns out that the gal who plays Nancy in Non-Stop is Michelle Dockery who plays Lady Mary on Downton Abbey. I was right.
The gal Eizabeth McGovern, born in Evanston, Illinois, who plays Lady Mary's mother has a band called Sadie and the Hotheads. Michelle Dockery has sung with them. Interesting. I would guess that some of you knew this but I did not. So it was interesting to me.

That is why Michelle Dockery and some others have done the talks shows in the U.S. beginning in season in 1 or2 --- they were working to get gigs here. Hugh Bonneville is in George Clooney's The Monuments Men. The Actress who played Sybil is in Winter's Tale -- came out in February in the U.S. Does anyone else find Cora possibly a bad actress? Maybe she does not have an interesting part or she does not get good lines. I don't know. M |

mrsD, I just looked at the menu and checked out the party plan. They sure did love their meat. I had a good chuckle reading the party plan where it says about the yield - "A dinner party that offers some leeway to break with decorum but that won't cause a scandal". Too funny.
CeCe, lovely fabrics there. I really liked the one with Highclere Castle printed on it. Great site by the way. |

Lara, I am glad that you enjoyed the site and they do carry lovely fabrics. Downton Abbey inspired quilts will probably be appearing in in many future quilt shows I suspect.

Is Downton Abbey going to be broadcast this Fall? I haven't seen any promotional advertisements at all.

I watched the rerun of episode 1 this Sunday. It was on in the midafternoon, instead of at night.
Ep 1 had lots of wonderful photography to set the mood and theme, and introduced Bates' character well. I watched them all at least 3 times, but I'll watch a few of the reruns here and there too.
