Great news! Australia usually follows a month or so behind the US, so I can predict February. Yay!

Have my books to keep me busy in the meantime. About 1/5 the way into 'London'. Half way through 'Paris'. And once those are read Sarum looks interesting. So I think I'll be hibernating with my books a little longer. LOL

Sarum is good too. I think Rutherfurd is just a great author!

It took me all summer to read London. I did the others a bit faster. I had paperback Sarum, so it was easier to handle.

Every once in a while in his books, things get "tense". So I just put it down for a few days and come back when I am feeling better. Sometimes I just get overly involved emotionally.

The Forest is a bit different... more about the people and the forest, and a shorter time frame.

After reading all those, I have to wonder about all the religious fighting. I had no idea so many people were murdered by Henry the VIII either! I find it remarkable that they survived it all. Our history here in US is shorter, and we don't have the extreme religious strife to deal with. Just bickering now and then. The Discovery Channel had a program about 2 yrs ago about Henry VIII's medical problems...mega GROSS!

Makes me wish I had studied set design instead of what I did study. So beautifully set and filmed.

Tonight's quote for me was... "We all have parts to play Matthew, and we all must be allowed to play them". Maybe it's the English in me. Loving it.

Heart

I am a little more than half way through reading recaps of season 5 on the U.K. sites.

I appreciate the show more if I know 1. the plot, and 2. some analysis of the plot before I watch.

Cool Smirk We Give… You Respond…

I'm pleased to read you all love the quality drama that is Downton Abbey, it's nice to know our little old nation can produce some cracking tv at times.
And what do we get in return? Neighbours and Honey Boo Boo!!!
Thank you SOOO much.
