Default Dad & stint

Now that my stepmom is gone Dad has decided to go ahead with his second operation, the placing of a stint in the aortal artery. We are waiting on scheduling. We are discussing going to Texas while we wait on that scheduling so I can get a few weeks of work in before we have to come back for the surgery. This is very good news as he was thinking of not having the second operation. He is doing very well finally after the first operation, which was a triple bypass with heart valve replacement. Just wanted to share a little good news.

Default stint placed

dad had the stint placed last week. he would not let me fly out and help, he is paranoid i will lose my job. my brother stepped up and took him to the hospital. dad had his wallet stolen at the hospital. it only had 2 bucks in it and his medicare & drivers licence. he is very paranoid about identity theft so i know he is stressed about it. where was my brother? he was sleeping till 10am on the day dad went into surgery. so the hospital took all dad's stuff and lost the wallet.

anyway, now dad is at my brothers house and is probably returning home this weekend where he plans to live alone to test out his independence again. he is doing really well except for a deterioration in his driving skills.

i am looking for a job in los angeles so i can move out there, but so far no luck. dad is also considering as a last resort moving to texas. my first choice. i think dad realizes he would hot be happy with my brother long term. for one thing they don't put his dinner on the table till 10pm, so if he is asleep he doesn't get any.
