Default plz help

hi, eveyone out there. my son had a brain shunt when he was 2 months old. now he is 12 and thank god everything seems going right. but i live with the fear that smth will go wrong with the shunt, and i can't sleep at night. every time he has headaches, which he says that are so strong even when he has a normal flu, i freak out. somebody who has shared the same experience good or bad, plz write to me. i'd like to know anything about the living with the shunt. the doctor says my son will have a normal life. should i trust him?
my son's case is not so severe that's true. exept some physical limitations and concentrating problems. and i should thank god day and night for this. i do, but still can't let go my worries. waiting for any answer with life experience on this matter. thx
