I have finally found a home. After years and so many tests and Doctors I have a place to feel NOT ALONE I have learned so much just in the little I have been here.I cried then anger set in All these people in so much pain and going from DOCTOR TO DOCTOR.MOST having the same problems as I have.I use to respect the physicians for there kindness, caring and understanding. But I gave up on them a long time ago.Now I DON'T go to a Doctor unless I need a Script As I know he just laugh at me give me a script for Cymbalta and send me on my merry way.I can't change Doctors and there are none taking on new patients.I feel like a rat trapped in a trap. And all they want to do is get rid of you.I can't believe my life has turned to a disaster and my golden years will be loss of memory and pain.Sleep well my on line friends.I pray you have a pain free night.
Soft Hugs people don't care what you say or what you do. It's how you make them feel that they will remember you. |

Hi and Welcome~ I'm sorry you've had such terrible experiences with doctors. Most of us have too but many have finally found one who believes us and is taking care of us. It's taken many many years, at least for me, but at least I found one!
May I ask what your pain is from? I have degenerative disc disease (DDD), osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, several herniations, severe sciatica ~ I had 3 surgeries and that's part of the reason I'm disabled now. I take pain meds, naturally. By the way, Cymbalta is one of them. LOL. I also take Methadone, Topamax, and Lidaderm patches. This is a great place to not only learn alot, but to meet some great people. Everyone here is very helpful. It's not always very active, but I like it here. Again, welcome and I hope you're not hurting too badly today. Take care & God bless. Hugs, Lee

hi again slm ~ bless your heart, you hurt everywhere! I hope and pray you have some meds that help a little at least. mine aren't the best but they take the edge off. right now i'm having an awful flare and i think if i had a gun i'd blow my leg off. lol. it just throbs and stabs something awful. this has been going on for 24 years and i'm so sick of it.
i've had the carpal tunnel surgery and it's a cinch. it's really easy and it works beautifully. i've had no problems since the surgery and i had that done more than 10 years ago. i hope you can have your surgery done soon cause i know how painful it is. i wish you the very best and will keep you in my prayers. with all you have wrong with you, you sure could use a few extra prayers. God bless. hugs, Lee
