Arrow Xanax or Xanax XR?

I am on medication right now, anafranil (clomipranime (2 x 25 mg every day) ) and olcadil ((cloxazolam) 3 x 2 mg every day), which is a benzodiazepine derivative. I still feel anxiety and nervoussnes, which sometimes leads me to panic attacs. My doctor prescribed me Xanax 0,5 in SOS. I have some questions. Is there any problem in taking both Xanax and Olcadil, since both are from the benzo family? Besides, who has taken Xanax and Xanax XR? Wouldn't Xanax XR be better, since it's effect lasts longer and could lead to lesser dependence?
