Default Vitamin D?

Has anyone had an experience with low Vitamin D causing increasing overall pain?? Was it relieved when levels increased? How high did the levels need to be in order to feel relief. Any personal experience would be great as I was recently told that my Vit D is extremely low but have not seen a difference with pain as of yet. Thanks.
