Doing regular exercise and activities like yoga and/or tai chi can benefit patients suffering from neuropathy.
I also completely agree with the gluten free comments. Studies have shown that you do not need to be diagnosed with celiacs disease to be "gluten sensitive" to experience sensitivity to the gluten. In my experience I have seen even type II diabetics suffering from neuropathy recover substantial feeling to their extremities.
