I have had Temple Head pressure for 4 years, it happened after a virus where I was throwing up. The only thing that has ever helped has been klonopin. MRA 3 years ago normal, MRI 4 years ago Normal. This is a left side head pressure that tingles, throbs, and at times I have difficulty forming my thoughts and thinking. Anyone have any idea what this could be? Been to 3 Neruo's and they can't seem to figure it out. Going to the Neuro tomorrow. They prescribed Lyrica which really doesnt do anything, tried flexeril just made me sleep all day, Propranlol didn't do anything. This seems to be external because Heat temporarily helps and Klonopin helps but, I don't want to take klonopin because I hit tolerance quickly. What in the world could this be!?? It's def external and it's a chronic pressure that is driving me crazing and makes it hard to talk.

Could it be an inflamed blood vessel? The pressure and tingling goes to the top of my head.

sinus - I'm not sure what you mean by "def external", but some sinus infections do respond to heat, and can manifest as temple pressure. migraine - there are many many kinds of migraine. Some do not cause pain (called "silent migraine"), some can be constant/chronic (Status Migraine or Status Migrainosus, though not usually as long duration as yours), and there are some migraine disorders that are triggered by viruses (I have a condition called "chronic tension-type headache/migraine complex - sudden onset" that came about during a virus cold that was a reactivation of Epstein-Barre virus [mononucleosis] from when I was a teen.) cluster headache - usually much shorter duration, but can present as temple pressure. chronic daily headache - a large group of headache sub-types. There seem to be quite a few people reporting similar symptoms to yours, and other possible causes, when I googled: chronic temple pressure If you can find one, I'd try to find a neurologist whose practice is specialized in/limited to just headaches. I went to several neurologists who just didn't know enough about some very specific headache conditions, then I found one they called "the headache guy" and he DXed me with 3 questions (and was correct). HTH, Best Wishes, Doc
