Default More prayer needed

Another neighbor is in cardiac ICU and it doesn't look good. As many of the frequent readers know, I have had a lot of death in my building in the last month. This has been a terrible strain on my precious super elderly neighbors who are not in good shape. They just sit around out on the breezeway and wonder who is going to be next. That is not a good mental place to be and the added stress is not good on their existing conditions. Thanks everyone.

i'm sorry spiney. Dealing with loss is difficult and painful.
Its easy to say that we all die in the end when that is far in the future. For people live with the reality of their own death on a daily basis, its not as easy.

Seeing your friends die on a regular basis must be frighteing and depressing.
For those in intense pain, it may be a relief, but its still the unknown. We cannot concieve of "eternity". Part of it comes down to your faith. There are only two choices, either death means the end, with no feeling, awareness etc., or, a chance to be with God. Believing in a higher power seems to take the fear away.

Two of my neighbors were ready in every sense and it was time. We all knew that. Some of my neighbors welcome being on the other side but are fearful of the dieing process. I can understand that as I have seen saints suffer terribly and find that confusing. One day at a time, eh?
