WhenI used them I put them on my upper arms, alternating each patch. I never cared if people saw or not. I tried all the other places but being able to see it made me feel better. I tried my torso and it made my heart race. So the only place I felt comfortable about it was my upper arms.

I did try on my upper abdomen area, when I tried that I had the racing heart. This may sound funny, but it was caused by the med releasing to fast, my bra was not supportive enough and that extra layer of breast laid on top and over heated the patch. Did I say that so it was understandable but not giving to much embarassing info, lol.
When I am outside of work I dont care, but at work it is different. I had to fight for my job at the hospital when they found out I was on Oxy 2 years ago, its something I dont want to do again. Why dont people understand? Anyway, thank you for the response. I think I may put it up as far as I can and use a skin colored bandaid when it is slightly exposed at work. School is almost over, I only have 21 work days left (but who is counting) I will just figure it out till then. Take Care, Mihcelle |

Maybe they should make the writing less easy to see....therefore less embarrassment. I understand the writing on the patch but its like a neon sign on your arm Have you tried your upper legs? I heard that is an option.

When we discussed patch placement because of fast release in body heat the two site told not to place were, below the heart, and upper chest.
Two places suggested for conceleament and not peeling back that worked out; over the back of the shoulder, by the upper area near the wing. Another lift your arm, NOT the armpit, but along the side on flatter spot. Also, if you have a fever, remove. No hot tub, spa, laying in the sun to cause fast release. This infor came from the 1-800 number, why not give them a call for more updated thoughts. Also to adhear without the bioclusive covers, we used large bandaid and took the cloth pad off first. Fit great and also hide the patch. Dianne
