RSD31,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have never had kidney dialysis but I’ve taken a family member to get their dialysis treatment several times. They let me go into the dialysis room (my mom was initially nervous and I wanted to support her). There were several people getting their dialysis treatment and the medical staff was very nice and professional. It was comforting knowing competent staff were present. The patients ... they looked very calm. They were sitting in big comfortable chairs during their treatment. Some were reading or were using their smartphones to listen to music (with earbuds, surf the Internet, etc.). After their treatment ended, they seemed calm and left, usually saying goodbye and see you next week, etc. I hope you will keep us updated so we can support you. ![]() Lash |
