Default Help, I'm new

Where do you ask questions about how to use the forum.

For example, I have two questions.

1. Is there any way to get email notificaiton when someone posts a reply to your post? Whoa! On this threat post I saw a notification option at the bottom. But on others I haven't.

2. I can find Health A-L, sometimes. But other times I can't. But I'll be damned if I can ever find the other Health letters. Or am I on too many forums and I'm getting my wires crossed? Maybe that isn't this Forum.

I feel like I've fallen down the rabbit hole. Things appear at sometimes and not others. I am real sorry if I am talking about the wrong forum. Suddenly I am so turned around

Thanks so much. I am not sure where that Alice in Wonderland feeling came from (seeing things and then not seeing them), but its less. I know know how to get to home plate and to Health A- (whatever)

What is the unique CP. I used search to try to find the answer without bothering a moderator, but nothing came up.

Wink

What it means is that only you can see your own profile in CP.
You cannot access any others.

CP is where your options are, and other features. The only feature NOT in CP is Change Mood, which is in the upper right
under your name when you log on.

sorry...CP is your User Control Panel. It is where you can edit and set your options etc for the site as well as for your personal profile page.
You will also see the link User CP at the top left of each page.

I mentioned it being unique and I had given you the link, but if anyone else clicks on it while logged in, it would take them to their profile, not yours as it is "unique" to each logged in member. We once posted that link and a few people became concerned as they thought we were posting the link to their private control panel, not realizing that the same link takes each person to their own CP if they are logged in.

hope that explains it more clearly

This was a great example of how fantastic this site is.

You were there explaining all the things needing to be learned.

And I have to admit. I needed a refresher course. So I thank you
too.
