Thanks - I had looked at the Parkinson's forum already (I've had generalised dystonia for anything from 13-17 years now, so I have a wide knowledge of the various drug/medical interventions, what works with me and what doesn't - and there are other more dystonia-focussed forums on the web).

The discussions on the CP forum were more based around equipment/lifestyle issues/ways to get around common issues, and with GD I have a lot more in common with the people who were frequenting that forum than the PD forum...partially because of age, but also because of the severity of my dystonia.

Still crossing my fingers in hope,
Swift
