Hi,

Would it be possible to have a forum for "Arnold Chiari Malformation" please?

Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you as well for the new home and all the work you've put into it. It is greatly appreciated.

FS

Hi DocJohn, hate to be a pest but I also asked for a Pet forum, comic relief forum and most of all an art/poetry forum. If I missed that they are already here I apologize but I kind of have to check in here for short periods at a time until late nite...when I use this site to keep me awake between turns and meds LOL

OMG DocJohn, I may have to post this under an emergency thread! I just noticed we have no kissing or hugging smilie. How can we be supportive without one of those. Please drop everything or and fix this immediately or I might be driven to the point of over-reacting to this crisis. Thank you.

OH JO....
I guess I didn't think it thru. I didn't specify either Cancer or Abuse types due to so many. I never even thought of drug/med/alcohol abuse, was thinking mental/emotional/physical like you AND me have lived thru. OBT had Domestic Abuse but seemed limiting. If you have a suggestion for a name, I'm all for something else.

Cancer has so many different areas also and granted there is lots and lots on the web. I was thinking just generic for the posters that already are members and have their support systems on these forums if/when they have to deal with cancer for themselves or loved ones. My thought was letting members already getting their support here to have a place to go without having to look for new support systems on Cancer only forums.

I've been pretty sick from Med s/e so please excuse my mental absence. I hope my explanations above make sense. If not, please feel free to add anything.

PS I also take my share of narcotics and have never gotten high. That was the last thing I was thinking when I suggested an abuse forum. I'm so sorry.

Trekker....I agree with your requests!!!! Especially Pet forum and Hugs/Kisses smileys......lots of them

lol @ you, don't apologize for THAT. I tell you, I feel so draged out some days I can hardly function. now Dr. want me to go or Lyri spmething or other, and everybody says it makes them forgetful. I said not to the change, but he says it will help the nerve pain. I can't take anymore right now. lol

Shotspine, I didn't know if you had certain forims or not, thats why I mentioned it. You see, I was asking for Alzheimer's/Dementia/caregivers forum. the Doc. did the caregivers and I don't see anything on the Alzheimer's Dementia. I was glad to get the caregivers but I think we need the other 2. On the BT forums they had a caregivers, many times it was a place to meet, but no support.. I never felt comfortable talking there.

Maybe they are trying to put things together, but I saw something earlier, the memory thingy again, but I would think they would put disease forums before some of the others.

I don't know Spotshine, I'm nuts anyway. I do hope they do the Cancer one. Good luck, Jo

Hey Jo.....
Bet your Doc is talking about Lyrica. Heard lots of pros and cons. I am so med sensitive I spend half my life trying meds and getting sick from them. No one listens, just wants me to try others. I have a boat load of bottles I can't take. Now I'm on this stupid road again because my ins. co. demands I take 4 different pain meds before they will authorize LIDODERM PATCHES!!! Long rant would follow if I felt good enough. It took 4 years of every pain med on market to find 2 I can take (and I already do). Don't need......just want the stupid lidoderm.

I always hung out at Chronic Pain mostly and Spinal Disorders. I didn't post a whole lot though but my life revolved around the info and support for many years. When I needed the caretakers forum, it hadn't been born yet.

Don't worry about being nuts......you have a lot of company (speaking for myself only )

I hope you get your forums soon. Keep posting........bigger font maybe????

Many Hugs and Blessings for you
