Well what do you think of thls. Jaye in the Parkinson's forum is taking postings that she has that have made an impression on her and putting them into a compilation of best from the past sort of.
Here is a site where we can do the same thing in our own forums. It can be a way of bringing people together again. Think about it and see if you like it. Some names have changed here and it is hard to know just who we are talking to. Okay I hope you go for it. thelma site:hastypastry.net I went to this site that someone put up in another forum and there is a ton of posts there from me. You can find yours as well by just putting your name where mine is and hitting. the name you post with. eg tortoise site hasty pastry .net when the page comes up under each posting is the word cache hit it and lo and behold we have once more come alive of course I forgot to say it's a google search Last edited by Thelma; 09-26-2006 at 11:13 AM. Reason: I stupidly put it in 2 posts |

hi thelma, this is fun. (oops, this post probably just violated the guidelines against playfulness)
one correction tho, you need a colon : after the word site and no space between hastypasty and the dot before net. when i put in annied site: hastypasty.net i got the funniest thing. a post i made explaining how to 1) use the correct address to get into original braintalk 2) find the old archived posts on the original braintalk. however, since instead of putting up directions again i suggested searching for them on the forum, guess that is not a very useful post any more.

You can find my thread that Thelma refers to in the Parkinson's Disease forum at http://forums.braintalk2.org/showthread.php?t=1613. Maybe other forums would like to start a similar thread of expression and use it to help others understand. Not that many or most of you haven't already.
Anyhow. Thanks for spreading the word, Thelma. Jaye P.S. ![]() ![]() |

I think it's a pretty good idea. I've been going back and looking at some of my old posts this evening, and it's cool. (Thanks for the info on how to do that, guys.) I just don't know if any of my old posts would really be of any use hear. Guess that doesn't say too much for me, does it?

It's really fun to find the old posts.
