There is a lot of interaction on the active forums....especially considering it is summer and a holiday period (traditionally always quieter then) Some forums are (and always have been) less active than others.
I have checked and other members appear to be getting their notifications without any problems so would suggest the glitch is either that your email provider is blocking our automated emails or some other issue with your computer or settings. You may want to unsubscribe and then re-subscribe. But the notifications are going out, and members are receiving them, including me.
