Well, I finally figured out how to quote someone in my post, using the quote button. Don't laugh, it really has taken me this long!
![]() Ok, so far, so good. But how do I get multiple quotes? I tried getting the first quote I wanted, typing a bit, then going back and getting another quote, but when that second quote came up, it erased everything I had already typed, plus my first quote. I know it is possible, because I've seen posts with multiple quotes in them. I just don't have any idea how to do it. Hugs,

Lois, I just left click mouse and highlight then right click and copy what I want quoted. Then surround it with the quote tags. Each separate section of quoted text needs to be surrounded by the quote tags. It won't work if you put it only at the beginning and at the end of it all.

I was just testing something. I'm sure there's another way so that the user's names (if using multiple quotes from multiple users) will show up in the actual quoted message. Someone else might know more about that way of doing it.

I think that number must be a post number. Not sure. I just split it up and copied the quote=Lara;96309 part to the beginning of the second part of my message that I wanted to quote as well. Finished them both with the /quote part and Bob's your uncle. [QUOTE=Lara;96309]Lois, I just left click mouse and highlight then right click and copy what I want quoted. ![]() I'm going to have to think a little more about the rest of your suggestions, and try it out. I also finally noticed the multi button. How do you use that? Hugs

Hi Lois. Yes, you did it the way I do it. I just do it that way because of habit I guess.
Another way to do it is to just highlight the text you want and click on the little botton in the Reply to Thread area. The quote feature is the one that looks like a sheet of paper with writing on it. (p.s. I accidentally clicked on the arrow above it just now and it wiped out half my post... weird.) I don't even know what the multi button is, I'm sorry. Hopefully someone else will have more info.. I tend to just do it the old fashioned way. Half of those buttons I don't have a clue what they are. About time I should learn about them myself... ![]() |

You click on the ("+) button and you can see by the image I made that the multi-quote buttons go red, then you just click Post Reply and it loads everything you wanted quoted and you can go from there. Hope this helped, the mutli-quote is a great addition I think.
