Default Question regarding PMs

What is the policy on PMs?

Does Admin record, tape, transcript ect our private messages?

Privacy here is respected.

Thank you Chemar.

I wish other message boards respected privacy like NT does but that is one of the reasons I like NT....the respect members are given.

Question

Hi,
I have another question...how does the buddy list/ignore list work.. what exactly happens if someone is added to a buddy list..or to an ignore list

Also if any members harass another member with malicious comments via PM can this be reported and sent to Mods..I like the privacy idea..just want to know if safeguards are still there ...Lisa

Hi Lisa

I have honestly never used the buddy lists so will have to defer to someone else on that question

As to harassing PMs, and also SPAM Pms, yes...should any member receive a PM that is outside of the guidelines they are to please forward it to admin or mod team immediately.

Obviously we cant get involved in personal member disagreements at every level....this refers to PMs that are either unsolicited and/or blatantly harassing, threatening, aggressive, or in anyway in violation of NeuroTalk Guidelines, and always applies to any PMs sent as solicitation or advertising

Thanks Chemar just trying to figure out all the buttons..and what they do...the buddy list I've never tried to use either...so I wondered how it worked..or what the difference was between any other PM for members use...in the past on another forum I did get spam...I just ignored it myself.. after figuring out it had nothing to do with anyone I knew...and was just a solicitor... ( that problem never occurred here though)..Lisa

FWIW, I've worked with KD as long as she has worked with me, and while the time we've worked together might be hard to pin down it might as well as be forever, because I feel like it has been! I've worked with a number of people I rely on over the years, and I can honestly say that, by far, KD has been one of the most reliable, easiest to work with and, perhaps most importantly, fair and open-minded. The pleasure has been all mine.

But I couldn't do it without all of the community administration team here, and of course, you, our members. Your trust is something you chose to share with us, and I very much appreciate that choice you made. Thank you!

DocJohn

I'm honored by such kind words.

What a good point about placing trust. That's huge for one to do, and not taken for granted...ever.

Thank you (((((((( DocJohn, Mods/Admins, Members ))))))))

My PM box is always open to questions, concerns, upsets, or just general thoughts and recommendations.

Y'all ROCK!

KD
