just to let y'all know I have posted on admin about this and am waiting to see if we have software in the system for it, or if a photobucket etc album would work best.

Would it be an opt-in? I mean, with avatars used within the forums, each person has "control" over use of the image - whether to include one or not, or make changes if a person wants.

If someone gathers the photos, and places them within a gallery or image hosting site, then, that would mean "control" over the use of the avatars is taken away.

yes, Bobbi...this would in no way be just a showing of avatars. this would be a separate photo album where members can VOLUNTARILY submit photos of themselves and/or family etc

Thank you for clarifying, Chemar . The reason I asked stemmed from:

YW Bobbi tho Doody was referring to collecting the photos that members would like to submit for the album, not that we would collect their photo avatars for it.

hope that reassures everyone that this would be a purely fun and totally voluntary thing

we respect your privacy here at NT and would not publish photos or info on our members without their permission

Oh my goodness, that was me in the link.

Pay no attention to my ramblings ((Bobbi)).

I think I said that before someone made the suggestion of using a place like photobucket where people could do their own. Just tossing around thoughts.

I'll try and get it into the main navbar as well, but it was easier to add it where it is for the moment.

Additional points of integration will follow...
