Thanks so much for all who are still posting messages for mrsD
Sadly there is still no change.
Her dh is passing on the messages and we just hope she is able to hear them and know just how appreciated and cared for she is by so many here.

mrsD, my thoughts are always with you.

My two cats continue to thrive.

I have a colony of Brush Turkeys on my land. The eggs are laid in a nest-mound which the male looks after.

Recently a couple of chicks emerged; they come round for food handouts. They approve of wholemeal bread. I enjoy watching them interact with the adults in the colony; "free and frank" exchanges of views about bread handouts often happen :).

Dear MrsD,
Thinking of you and appreciating all the years of help and support you have given to all of us. I especially miss all the wonderful wildlife pictures you used to post. You are missed.

So sorry that you can no longer come on these boards and communicate with us. Hope this is temporary. We are all praying for you.

Sending love to you and your family from way over here.
I think of you often, especially when I'm out in my garden.
From time to time I also find myself relaying to family and friends all manner of knowledge that you taught me over the years.

I do miss our talks...

Today is the 2nd of January 2019.

I'm so hoping that 2019 will bring the family of Mrs. D, and of course
the wonderful woman herself some wonderful news and things.

Mrs. D, the lord knows what we all here are hoping for. And that our fondest wish is for you to get so much better. To return here to us one day. But most of all that you are able to return to that fantastic family of yours.
I know they are taking wonderful care of you. Just as you have always
done for them. So I just want to wish you all an wonderful, safe and
happy new year. May 2019 be the best it can be for you all.

Your post gave me an idea. Maybe we can all post pictures of out pets. And if we don't have pets then pictures of wildlife.....or other pets we know of. Anything to trigger familiar things for MrsD to look at. Maybe it will help....maybe it won't.....but it will be enjoyable for her to see nevertheless. I'll start with one of my pets.....a funny one of Tigger in his "tanning bed". He'd lay flat of his back in this tubular cat tree with his tummy in the sun. It had a cut out space on the side you can't see. All you can see are his toes and ears!
