Just updating that I did check in with mrsD's hubby and sadly nothing has changed. She remains in the longterm care facility, is conscious but not really cognizant
 It is so hard for me to imagine that brilliant mind not functioning at warp speed, the way she always did. But it does appear she is being very well cared for and is peaceful. He also shared some pics of her beloved cats with me and they are looking content as well.
