Heck, I was just curious when I asked the question! Didn't know it already on the minds of so many. Wanted to search to see if it had already been in discussion but couldn't decide what *keyword* to use.

In honor of Doc John's PsychCentral, how about DisorderCentral or IllnessCentral ? I Googled both and found no matches.

This is what I've seen mentioned so far but could be totally wrong. :o

I also liked the "wellness" concepts that MrsD mentioned, plus many of the other suggestions

my personal choice would be "BT2 Health Central"

I like everything that everyone has mentioned I just miss the medical dictionary, as well as the drug info. that we used to be able to get.

Hey, Sue ...

No worry. Those features do not belong to JL or OBT. They are just links to other websites -

Public Library of Science
http://www.plos.org/

Dictionary & Thesaurus
http://www.dictionary.com/

Medical Dictionary
http://cancerweb.ncl.ac.uk/omd/

PubMed
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/PubMed/

Drug Info
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginformation.html

If DocJohn is willing to provide these links on this site, nothing lost.

I like Health Central too, but we need to stay away from anything that is already a website or trademark (hence the reason we're moving away from BT)....

Thanks!
John

Silly question here I'm sure.

Whatever the name is...are our choices .org, .com, and .net??? I'm not sure of the differences.

I'd personally like to stay away from anything related to 'brain'. Reminds me too much of Braintalk (original) but then, that's just me. :D

I still like NeuroTalk also. With Braintalk we managed to get people in there with illnesses not related to just neuro, so I guess I'm not so worried about that.

I also still think something+central would be nice...so we can be like Psych Central when we grow up. :D

Does anybody know a fast way to run all those names to see which are available -- plus the .com, .net, .org part of it?

that would help narrow it down some.
