Just turned 43 the 2nd of this month, so it doesn't look as old to me as it did in my teens. ;)

Yes, I'm really liking it and adjusting now.

I really like the pulsating arrow to the left of the forum...pulsating warmly to show new posts in the forum.

Thank you!

KD

pulsating arrow?

My gosh... I don't have that at all!

But I do have blinking boxes...very small boxes, on the posts that are new.

Hey, I want an pulsating ARROW!

How confusing it all is... and I am really spent from a long night at work..
I will have to contemplate the pulsating arrow! LOL

Silly quesstion for you about the chestnut.
when I look at the tan color to the right of peoples avatars I see a couple of marks that are white(without color)...one looks kindo of like a star or a short cross and the other one looks like a kite of some sort or a box with tails.
Do other folks see this? or am I just hallucinating...lol

dang...and here i thought i made a good batch of hot ovaltine. :p

they sure look pretty tho. :D

Bizi,

I had to change back to the Chestnut to have a look ... and I think all of the white marks beside the avatars are stars. Little dots and larger, twinkling stars.

Now I'll change back to the old blue because then I can see if anyone is in the chatrooms.

(((Bizi))) :)

So they are stars!!!!
nice and subtle....

Actually the chestnut is set for 850 (I can decifer the css and went to view source)
Quote:

table width="850"
which means if your montitor resolution is less than 800 wide, you WILL scroll. MOST monitors these days are set at 1024x768 and at that resolution, you will not scroll.

The default is set for 100% which means that regardless of how little or big your screen is, it makes itself fit.

Btw, MOST of the GOOD themes are at www.vbulletin.org Do you recognise the designer's name?????? :) Liz

Mrs D,

You can see the pulsating arrows when you look at the Index page:

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/index.php

They are the big ones that are out beside each individual forum's name. They will "pulse" when the forum as any new posts since the last time you visited.

Off of that topic, no matter what I do, I can't get the Chestnut Skin to fit my monitor screen. I have tried everything everyone has suggested? I don't use firefox (someone asked if maybe it was affecting only users of that), my browser is IE. The only way I have gotten the thing to fit on the screen, I wound up with font so small that there was no way that I would have been able to read it for very long without getting a major headache...and everything else on my screen shrunk too (like One More Time said it would. LOL, I had tired it first, before she posted that, though. *Sigh). So, I wanted you to know that your age doesn't have anything to do with it; I am 37. ;) LOL

Hope that you have a good day, and that you found your pulsating arrows now!:D

Take Care,
Joselita

DUH? Joselita...

Thank you!... I never noticed them!:o I use forums home alot to view for
new posts etc..it is a quick way to catch up. But they pulse so slowly, that I scroll right past them... and I look mostly to the right, and not the left.

Thanks for pointing them out...trifocals are a bummer, I cannot read thru
the distance part, and the reading portion is only an inch wide. I don't have the variable type, as they make me dizzy. So the arrows are in my blur zone!

Oh, well, I am used to stuff like this! Thanks for being patient with me!
