I am not sure where this should be posted, but if I am out of line, please delete it or move it where the most people can see it.
I think this is pretty current news and I haven't seen it mentioned on here. Here is some info. I have emailed all of my representatives. This is one of those things that may change fast. Save Medicare Act of 2008 Bill # S.2785 Original Sponsor: Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) Cosponsor Total: 19 (last sponsor added 05/22/2008) 9 Democrats 2 Independents 8 Republicans About This Legislation: This bill would reverse a projected 10% cut in Medicare and TRICARE payments to doctors that otherwise would take place on July 1. Instead, the bill would authorize modest increases in payments to doctors for the remainder of 2008 and for 2009. Anyone else know what is going on? Even if you are not on Medicare or Tricare, you probably have a parent or relative who is.
