Default Is there a way to be notified if friends post on their pages?

I just ran across one of my friends pages and they were updating something important. I wouldn't have seen it if I hadn't surfed past. Just curious if we can get that option or use it as a suggestion for the future upgrades? Kind of like when we subscribe to threads?

Thank you! If this has been asked before I am sorry.

Thanks Chemar! I hope we can have that option someday. Something like a subscribe icon to that person's home page when something is posted like we have for threads or something similar. Or maybe something programmed into the software that has a star or something like that next to their name in our friends list to alert us they have updated or posted something on their page?
