I saw what you wrote about threads and posts and thought I'd try and help you out.

A thread is a new topic, including all of the replies that the original poster gets to the topic that he/she posted, where-as a post is a reply to any thread.

I hope that's clear enough not to confuse you any more. Please ask if you have any other questions.
Well, carp. I thought a post was a fat stick in the mud.

ideal dude, anytime you send me a PM, I WILL answer it no matter how long it takes...

I really am glad to have a place to read, and find out things that may apply to me. It also helps for me to see that some of the emotional things I feel now are normal for people that have chronic pain and disability. It's hard to put myself in that category, but that is my reality. So, anyway, thanks for the additional welcome, and maybe some time I can chime into threads or posts ( I don't know the difference between the two)
blakitty, our dear K77 gave you the right answers and please feel free to jump in anytime. If you feel a bit shy, please know that you're welcome in my threads anytime. it's a start.

welcome, Thumper2!

As you can see, you're in great companies here...

the ones that have posted so far in this thread: abbie (abasaki), curious, nappy (aftermynap or AMN or smacker), GladysD, K77 (Koala77), idealist, twinks (twinkletoes) are all wonderful folks... (OK, this will be the ONLY time I will speak nicely about some of these folks, LOL Just kidding)

so pull up a chair and have fun with us.

I think social chats are a great place to start.

and please feel free to jump into anything I've started (I can make this offer but I am sure many others would love to have their threads JUMPED)

It looks like you're all registered, and now a new member to NeuroTalk. Welcome Gaillilly.

I'm not quite sure what you'd like help with, but if you click onto this link, it will take you to our new member introduction forum. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum88.html

Next.... on the left of your screen you will see New Thread. Click on there and a page will open that will allow you to type whatever you want to introduce yourself. Give your new thread a title, and press submit. One of the Moderators will check it over and then you're on your way.

Don't forget to let us know in your introduction if there's anything in particular you'd like us to help you with.

I hope that helps.
