There were a couple of technical features on BrainTalk I miss. (And that's about all I miss: except of course the data that was lost in it's crash.)
First, there was a feature where we could get email notification whenever we had private meassages. I've just looked through the 10 pages of thread listings on this forum and don't see anything that adressed this. Would it be possible to incorporate it? The only reason I ask is that I've gotten a couple of delayed responses from people who apparently log in only when they want to post, and don't know most of the time that they have mail waiting. (Come to think of it, this may be a deliberatre choice on your part in order to encourage folks to log in, I don't know.) Secondly, BT has, across the top of each forum page, links to online dictionaries, PubMed and a couple of other resources. It's my understanding that this sort of web-linking is generally free and done all the time. It would be convenient to have it here. I offer these for your consideration only. Keep up the good work, it's much appreciated. Mike |
