This is a great tip. After hearing it about a year ago, I had my entire family put ICE after the names of people in their cell phones who should be emergency contacts.

In January, my father was in a car accident due to low blood sugar, and the paramedic at the scene called me using my father's cell phone~ that had me listed as an emergency contact using ICE after my name in his contact list.

I just got a new cell phone, and the very first thing listed when you open the Contact List is + IN CASE OF EMERGENCY , and then it allows you to put in your emergency contacts, and there is also a spot for Personal Info.
