Your Lightscribe is a burner - and it can label the disks also.
here is a link about it and a tool box with down load/support -- maybe that drive is where the problem is - maybe a special download is needed for it.- http://www.lightscribe.com/support/index.aspx Alan's link is handy so if the computer guy says a new drive is needed you will have an idea of prices. you probably don't even need a lightscribe - since you don't burn anything and the labeling feature is just an extra.. I just use a permanent marker and write what it is..
