Woohoo!!!!! My blank emails are back!!! Happy dance time! I didn't do anything either. My computer just burped loudly and now they are back.
 I never did check other computers to see if they were there. Denial is more than a river in Egypt you know.  Yes, my mail is set up to be stored by another website, not my computer. I lost stuff once before when we had more than one computer. The mail wasn't on the one I usually use but it was on another one. I remember I checked them just minutes apart. Never did figure that out. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
