I can't find the little cable that goes from my computer to the digital camera. Do you know where I can get another as I was going to give it a try. Also exactly where to plug it in to the computer? My husband says to plug it in the back but my son says on the side. I think I was better off not to ask either one of them. Thanks for your help, Doodle bug7

Go to the camera's website and look in the search box for the cable you will be needing. Usually the cable goes from your camera to a USB port.

Does your camera have a card in it that is removeable?
Some computers have card slots you can put the card in that way. What kind of camera do you have? If you don't have a card slot, then you can buy a card reader and plug that into any USB port. Your camera may have come with a CD disc to download. (mine does). All the cords end in a USB plug for downloading, as far as I know.

here's some pictures of card readers & camera cards too - I just picked amazon as they have usually reviews at the bottom also - but you can find them at almost any electronics or larger store- Target, walmart, best buy etc.
same for the replacement cord - one end will be usb and the other will be shaped to fit into the camera. most likely any of the USB plugs on you computer will work just fine. For most computers the plugs are made to fit in only the correct places for that plug. so if it fits - it's in the right place. some computers will have a slower USB and a faster USB 1.0 or 2.0 - the newer ones might now have a 3.0 USB but for transferring pictures any speed should be fine.. camera card reader usb http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss...=relevancerank
