Do you have XP?

If so, go to your ...

> Start menu
>> Control Panel

If in Category View, select Appearance and Themes. Then, click on Display and choose the Settings tab. That's where you change the resolution.

If in Classic View, click on Display and choose the Settings tab.

If you are trying to change the text size on this site, you can't. The site treats the text as a picture not text. Because of that the size adjustment in your browser won't work. The only solution is to change the resolution of your monitor, which will screw up everything else on your computer screen.

I'm using Mozzilla firefox as my browser and I can change the font sizes- ctrl /+ or ctrl /- in the view toolbar also.
Netscape works similar for me that way too.

But Rocking4Epilepsy may have meant the screen resolution only , not the font sizes

actually it is very easy to change the text size in your browser, at least in Internet Explorer. as a matter of fact, i just put up instructions on how to do it on a thread where people were complaining about text color. so instructions for how to change text size and text and background color are here

hum. just tried to edit the above post to add something and it hung my browser.

what i was going to add is that View > TextSize > Largest only increases the size of the text on the page that is not in a box where you can type.

to increase the size of the text in title bars and toolbars in all of Windows programs, right click on the Desktop. Click Properties.

then on the Appearance tab you will find all sorts of ways to improve what you see. when you click on the down arrow in the box "Color Scheme" it will give you lots of choices. click on one of them and the example in the box above will show you what it will look like. this will not take effect until you click "Apply" if you get nervous click Cancel instead of OK or Apply. and yes there really are people out there, some i know with limited vision, who love the High Contrast Color Schemes. notice that the Large text is much larger in the High Contrast Color Schemes than it is in other Color Schemes.

this is safer than changing the screen resolution. strange things can happen when you change the screen resolution. says she who knows.
