Let's go back to some basics first.
What Windows version do you have on it? XP, Vista , Win 7? How to find main system info - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...er-information free downloads from hp here - pick the OS (operating system) that your pc has to get the right updates - http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...SeriesId=46136 I don't think you even need the Intel Storage Manager - here's info if you want to learn what it does- http://www.intel.com/design/chipsets...storage_sb.htm for help with the uninstalling & deleting unneeded files & programs - go to Start , then Programs, then Accessories then to System Tools. You'll see the Disk Clean up & also the Disk Defragmenter Use the clean up then the defrag.
