One of our local computer stores has a 3 day, buy one get one free, laptop and desktop computer sale.
I need a new laptop so this sale couldn't come at a better time for me. The brands are all well known, and the only exclusions I can see are Apple Macs and Sony, but the sale items all have AMD processors. My questions are : *Would the AMD processor be much slower than the Intel processor that I have in my current laptop, and are there any other differences I need to know about? *Is this a good deal or are they maybe selling off inferior computers that haven't been selling well? Because of the time constraints of the sale in question, I have to decide today or tomorrow at the latest. Your opinions would be much appreciated.
