Changing size and type of font, may be on the page somewhere else from the the tool selection.

Mine is in a bar across the top when I click the tool on the left
side. It only activates when I select the "text" tool.

Don't be afraid to practice or move around. Control + Z will undo your last command in most programs.

Thank you all; this place is so awesome! I've been fiddling around with Paint (which I didn't ever really know was there ) and I'm going to check out PhotoBucket and Picasa also. Hope my "vintage" computer can stand the stress!

I'll be watching for your results. Once you do it a few times
it becomes easier.

My computer is old...too. What really matters with graphics is
RAM size. If you don't have alot of RAM, you won't be able to leave things on the clipboard. You should be able to do them tho one at a time.
