Default Ubuntu 12.10

For those that dont know, I run a Computer Training Center here in Virginia, and I just recieved (4) Dell laptops as donations. These were Vista machines and were uber slow. I decided to take a chance and installed the latest version of Ubuntu on all of them.

What a great idea!

I have used older versions of Linux in the past, but this new version is very user friendly, fast, secure and not bogged down with bloatware. It takes about 30 minutes to install and NO drivers needed. Oh yeah, its FREE.

10X better than any windows product and even a caveman can use it...

So, any of you with ongoing Windows issues should at least explore the idea of heading over to the rightside, Ubuntu 12.10.

Google it, try it for yourself by running it off a USB stick, and then sit back and enjoy....

I'm using Linux Peppermint OS right now on our spare laptop -a 2004 gateway 450 ROG

worked right off also, just had to put in our wifi password to connect.

Next I plan to download Snowlinux and try it.
