Are you talking about the Drop Down Coupon thing? Maybe not but I'd love to know how to get rid of that thing. It turns certain words all over a page into a hyperlink ad.

I don't. Removed something called Cosi Family Calendar that I know noting about. There's another unknown program called Roxio Creator Burner (or something like that) that I didn't touch.
The ads I'm getting first appeared as a literal drop down menu, then morphed into the current hyperlink of specific words. Just seeing your response, Jo*Mar. I run McAfee Security Suite.

Forgot I have malwarebytes on this laptop. Ran that and it detected adware.gameplayads. Described as a, get this...dropdown coupon advertiser! So I removed it.
But I still see signs of it. For example, in my signature, the word Multiple Sclerosis is hyperlinked, but not in every post. Weird. I will run malwarebytes again. Razzle51, hope you can remove your problem also! I see you are also in Iowa; I'm near Cedar Rapids. Are we neighbors?

As I said Malwarebytes got some of the problem. I Googled around and read something about this being a Firefox addon/plugin that had attached itself to my computer. Sure enough! There it was, happily working away on my addons list. I simply removed it. Problem solved!
Razzle51, since this was your thread I hope you return and get help for your problem, if it the same as mine. Thank you, everyone who replied to help! ![]()
