Hi, how do I add 'flash player' to my new computer? It says I have to disconnect 'something' How do I do that and re-connect it back?
Another thing, I can't get into my e mail. It was working then something got disconnected. I think having to do with firewall. Some directions say to go to 'tools' and options, then security, then I get stuck not sure what to do then. It lists like 3 areas -enable or disconnect' don't know what to do. Thanks for any help. loretta ![]() |

Is it Windows or a Mac?
What browser are you using? Usually the flash player notice comes up while using the browser online. Often it says to click here?? and it will go the the right place so you can down load it. And then install it- be sure to see where it down loads to on your computer. Should be Adobe flash or maybe shockwave something?? Most computer systems have a default downloads folder that you can do a search for if you can't find it easily. Then double click the flash player file and it will do the rest from there unless it asks you a question or 2. I hope you have a good antivirus installed before going online with a new computer. I guess most do have Norton or something free for awhile.. I'm not sure what it want you to disconnect?? ![]() Can you get more info on that? For email do you use outlook or a program on the computer, (pop mail) or do you go online to the email website (webmail)? I guess I need more info for that too. But if you can get here online then the online email should work too... so maybe you are using a pop mail program. ![]()

Sounds like maybe the Internet connection is disconnected. That's the only 'disconnect' error I can think of that would disable email and Adobe.
Reboot that bad boy. |
